How to Burn Your Music to a CD
Whether you're into R&B, Rap or Blues, Rock, Metal, Classical or New age, you can find plenty of in right on your computer - as long as you have the Internet.
The once numerous brick and mortar record stores are now few and far between. They have been hit by the 'burn your own music craze', and for good reason. It is easy to get your tunes online.
The Internet offers a wide variety of websites that make it easy for us to burn your own CDs. For just a dollar per song you can create your favorite music on a CD collection. All computers now come with CD and DVD burning capability, so it is pretty easy.
When you purchase songs online, it is simple to create a folder of your favorite mixes. Just put a CD in your CD burner drive and follow the pop up instructions to burn all the songs in the folder. This goes for DVDs and movies, too, but that is another complete topic for another time.
Record labels, as you've probably read about, don't care for the turn that this easy music attainability has taken. It's now simple to get your music online for free. This is definetely not legal, but many consumers have abused this by illegally downloading songs. However, the record labels are fighting back and have gone after thousands of downloaders legally. Not just the download companies, but even individuals that have only downloaded a few hundred songs.
When you burn music and get all those favorite songs on a single CD, you've likely saved yourself some bucks by not purchasing all the different CDs by different artists. Usually a CD has a few great songs and more 'filler' songs. So, you are actually saving money in the long run by creating your own playlists.
So, stay legal, it is still cheap, and have fun creating a personal favorite CD. Before long you will have all your favorites on a CD.
